TOPS Surgical Specialty Hospital Announces New Spring, Texas Location to Expand Surgical Capacity and Patient Care

 

Houston, TX (November 5, 2025)—TOPS Surgical Specialty Hospital announced plans to build a new facility at 23827 Gosling Road, Spring, TX 77389. The project will expand TOPS’ inpatient and outpatient services, add operative capacity and observation beds, and bring a modernized patient experience to residents of north Houston and the surrounding communities.

The new Spring campus is planned to break ground in May–June 2026, with construction completion and an operational opening targeted for Fall 2027.

Key features of the new Spring facility include:

• Two additional operating rooms to increase surgical throughput and reduce scheduling delays.
• Ten additional observation beds and thirteen inpatient beds to support expanded inpatient and short-stay care.
• A broad range of surgical specialties, including orthopedics, offering direct screening, colonoscopies, general surgery, and plastic and reconstructive surgery, as well as gynecology, urology, and other specialty services.
• Modernized patient care areas and updated clinical support spaces designed for efficiency, safety, and comfort.

TOPS leadership is working closely with local officials, health system partners, and physician stakeholders to finalize construction plans and staffing for the new campus. Further announcements will follow as permitting is completed and the project reaches major milestones.
